Last Saturday, Shawano County Democrats gathered for a night of dining and getting together with hopeful political candidates at their Annual Fund Raiser at the Shawano Lake Golf Course.
After the meal, candidates were introduced by Shawano County Dem’s Chair Jan Koch to address the group. Each Candidate presented their positions on current issues explaining why each of them deserved our votes. It was a very informative evening and allowed Local Democrats to meet and know their Candidates.

Several Shawano Dems braved the heat last week when they volunteered on a worksite north of Keshena on Big Sky Road for Habitat for Humanity. Their job assignment that day was to pick up some brush and rake some sand. They were afforded some breaks with plenty of water and homemade cookies.
